WindReach Bermuda
WindReach exist to enrich the quality of life for people with special
needs. WindReach offers educational, therapeutic and recreational
programmes and events to foster inclusion and interaction between the
able-bodied and the special needs communities.
The WindReach facilities are used by persons with a wide range of
abilities and special needs from the mild to the more profound, including
Bermuda’s growing senior population.

| Opportunity Workshop |
Opportunity Workshop is a training centre for young adults, eighteen years
of age and older, with learning and/or physical disabilities. Its
objective is to provide opportunities for continued development of
functional, social and vocational skills to promote independent living in
the community. Opportunity Workshop works in partnership with other
divisions of the Department of Health to provide clients with dental and
nutrition services, as well as regular occupational therapy, physical
therapy and speech-language therapy. Admission to the programme is based
on medical confirmation of disability status and assessment of functional
abilities.

| Orange Valley |
Orange Valley is the recommended service for adults with cognitive
challenges. It is dedicated to promoting and enhancing quality of life
through a wide array of services. A few features are day release
placements, screenings and intervention. Orange Valley offers
recreational, educational and multi-sensory programmes, along with a daily
bus service and a dynamic, social summer programme. Through partnership
with the Department of Health, the Centre provides dental and nutritional
assessment, speech and physical therapy maintenance. Referrals are
accepted from Family Services, the Ministry of Education & Development, and
self-referrals.
